Spinning mill + weaving mill
Velener Textil actually consists of two plants – the spinning mill and the weaving mill.
In our spinning mill, we produce exclusively white 100 % cotton yarns in any desired specification and in large quantities on modern Reiter OE spinning machines. Velener yarns impress with their high tensile strength and particularly pure white.
In our weaving mill, we produce technical textiles and finished fabrics in a wide variety of blends. In-house textile development and sophisticated quality assurance ensure the renowned quality of our products.

- Blends: Cotton, polyester, polyamide, acrylic, elastane, viscose, aramid, antistatic, Trevira and many more.
- Technologies: Air-jet weaving machines, automatic rapier machines
- Fabric widths: up to 345 cm raw width
- Basis weight: 50 - 500 gr/sqm
- Weave: dobby weave up to 16 heald frames
Ideally suited for:
- Technical textiles: carrier fabrics for coatings, abrasives or polishing wheels, book cover fabrics, tent fabrics, flag fabrics, filter fabrics
- Household textiles: Bed linen and bed pads, decorative fabrics, contract textiles, interior sun protection
- Clothing: Workwear, leisurewear, lining fabrics, protective clothing with flame-retardant, antistatic, bi-elastic or high-visibility functions
