21 billion (!) plastic bottles are sold every year in Germany alone ... when they are empty, they are garbage. Many of them, like billions of others, end up in South East Asia via the international waste trade. And from there into the oceans.
We at Velener use PET fiber yarns made from recycled plastic bottles in our weaving mill – and produce WETURNED® fabrics from them. For every requirement, every specification and almost every application: our specialists develop the optimum blend for your needs and ensure consistently high fabric quality through test series and random samples. Because through the certified program of our Asian partner, empty PET bottles are collected in a 50 km zone along highly polluted coastlines: over 18 billion in recent years.
