At our weaving mill in Velen, we produce rwa fabrics up to 3,450 mm wide for a wide variety of textile applications. We tailor your raw fabric precisely to your requirements and the subsequent processing in terms of material, blend, weave and weight per unit area. Whether cotton and viscose, polyester and polyamide or speciality yarns such as aramid, Trevira CS and others – we weave whatever you need.

Using bespoke blends, we tailor our fabrics precisely to our clients’ specific applications. In doing so, you benefit from what we call ‘textile intelligence’: specialist knowledge combined with best practice and nearly a century of weaving experience.
Cotton
Cotton is used to produce absorbent, versatile raw fabrics made from natural materials. We are also pleased to offer you certified cotton yarns from our own production for your raw fabrics. And with our WECYCLED® recycled fabrics, you can use cotton sourced from a textile circular economy system.
Polyester
Polyester yarns enable the production of hard-wearing, dimensionally stable fabrics for a wide range of technical and textile applications. WETURNED® fabric is our solution if you wish to use recycled raw materials – the polyester used is sourced from PET bottles collected along the Pacific coast.
Polyamide
Polyamide yarns are used when high strength and durability are required in the fabric.
Viscose
Produced from wood-based cellulose, viscose yarns are used to create soft, absorbent fabrics. Viscose also blends very well with other fibres. We are pleased to offer you FSC®-certified viscose yarns from our own production for processing in our weaving mill.
Aramid
Speciality aramid yarns are used in technical fabrics that must meet specific requirements in terms of strength and durability.
Trevira CS
Trevira CS is a permanently flame-retardant polyester fibre. Consequently, this well-known branded yarn is particularly suitable for the production of fabrics requiring first-class fire-retardant properties.
Anti-static
Do you need fabrics that specifically dissipate or reduce electrostatic charge? If so, we use antistatic yarns that meet your requirements.
Filament yarns

Raw fabrics produced using modern weaving technology.
We manufacture our raw fabrics as dobby weaves with weights ranging from 50 to 500 g/m². Fabric widths of up to 3,450 mm significantly expand your range of applications.
